It started with one Simple question...

In 2018, what was supposed to be a five-week safari became something else entirely. The animals were unforgettable. But it was the people, warm, smart, funny, generous despite having so little, who changed everything.

At Amboseli Primary School, next to a Maasai community that had given up its nomadic way of life so the children could attend, someone asked a teacher named Anne if they had a library.

"No," she said, "but we would love to have one."

That is how it all started... and today, we are raffling this Little Free Library to a lucky Lowcountry winner -- so we can send more books to students who are waiting to read their next favorite story.
